You may be wondering how we got our name. It’s a simple, familiar story of family succession. My great uncle, Louis Kronsbein, purchased this beautiful farm from the Dittmer family in the 1940s. After Louie passed in 1974, my father and his sister acquired the farm. When my father, Roland Kronsbein, passed in 1998, he left the farm to me, and I moved here in 2000.
My dad loved this farm, and so do I. To honor his legacy and the memories created here, I decided to name these gently rolling hills “Roland Acres.”
